A survey on the relationship between the development of knowledge management and factors of organizational culture in Khuzestan social insurance organization

The current research aims to study the relationship between the development of knowledge management and factors of organizational culture in Khuzestan social insurance organization. The main question behind this study is: regarding the importance of factors in organizational culture, how is the current status of social insurance organization estimated? For analyzing factors of organizational culture we have used Daniel Denison’s cultural model and for investigating the current status of knowledge management, we have used Prost model for the structural basis of knowledge management. This research is a descriptive survey and data gathering is done through both library and field methods. To determine the validity of data gathering tools, we have used expert’s points of views. Regarding the amount of Chron Bach Alpha, the reliability of organizational culture questionnaire is %87 and the reliability of knowledge management questionnaire is %80.
The statistics of this research includes all the staff in Khuzestan social insurance organization and sampling is done through a random-classified method. For data-analysis, we have used statistical methods including kolmograph-esmironof and Pierson’s co-relational Coefficient The results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and the development of knowledge management. (r=%82). Furthermore the findings indicate that the four factors of Denison’s cultural model including participation, Commitment, adaptation, flexibility and organizational mission have close relationship with the development of knowledge management.
